Hi all, just an update, I figured out how to remove people from tree. You have to start with any unattatched children then work up to the parents. Quite simple when you figure it out,but GRs instructions could be better! Sylvia. |

Hi again Sylvia, the principal's fairly similar really. If you delete the people you want to delete first from your own family tree programme, then try uploading it again to Genes, the new file will just overwrite the old one, hopefully. Best of luck |

Hi John, I read the thread and couldnt understand it. The people I want to delete are not living, they have been dead more than 200years! I did export my tree to FTM ashort time ago. Would that make a difference? Do I have to delete from there first? I am getting snowed under with hot matches for these people who are not mine! Regards Sylvia. |

Hi everyone. I mistakenly added a whole family (2 generations) to my tree and have discovered they are not mine! How do I remove them? When I try delete button I get 'cannot delete someone with so many relations' I am sure there must be a simple way to do it. Thank you Sylvia. |
