I've 'highlighted' the text. selected 'copy' but then ......NOTHING!. Then .... put your curser where you want the text to be, right click the mouse, click Paste .... the text will appear!

I usually open up a word document, then minimize it, hold the left hand button on the mouse down and highlight all the text you want and right click copy, then open up the word document and right click again and select paste, the text will appear in the word doc.

Hi Margaret Highlight the text you want right click on you mouse and on the list you will find copy select copy go to wherever you want to put the text right click again select paste thats all there is to it hope you can understand this Ann

Copy and Paste or is it Copy and .......? So many times, on this Board, I've come across bits of info., quotations, poems, jokes'. data. etc., but I dont' know how to 'save it'. I'm 'computer illiterate' - could someone explain (in SIMPLE English) how do I do it? Many thanks, M. Steer
