This is for anyone who is struggling like me to find Irish Rellies. I got in touch with Irishfamilyresearch and they sent me a lovely mail offering to help when I had more info. My Ancestor had just put Birth place Ireland on all the census returns, they suggested that I obtain a copy of his death certificate as sometimes this had details of where he was actually born and a true age. Apologies to all those who may already know this, but if you are new to this like me you may find this helpful.

I know the feeling Karen. I had some wonderful help from Mallow heritage centre, they cover most of Cork county it cost but had it been the right family. Exact names approx correct date children similar names but not mine, unless they were in two places at once, it would have been well worth it. Back to the drawing board now though but do not know which bit!!!!!!

Hi. Someone from this site was trying to help me with my Irish ancestors. He 'googled' my ancestor's name, year of birth and a possible name for his mother and came up with a probable place and date of birth! Just thought this tip might help someone else. Best of luck with your searches.
