someone kindley gave me some info that could possibly be my G Grandad and his parentsin 1871 Logged off to watch a film and my lounge lights turned on and off...!!!??? SPOOKY!!! Is it a sign I wonder? Janine |

I think that you should get your electrics checked out! - Only joking :-) You never know it could be a sign. Strange things like this do happen to us genealogists. Though it could be that we all have overactive imaginations! A similar thread was on here a few weeks ago on this subject. |

Very spooky! We had things like that going on in our house: the toilet flushing even though no-one had touched it, one of my house-mates thought that someone was in the house once as there was a hair dryer whirling away by itself, on a few occassions, the amplifyer in my room would go off in the middle of the night, the printer has been activated on its own, and someone staying over actually saw a shadow in the room during the night! We found out a bit more information about the house where we lived, the lady whi lived there before us, lived in the house for 36 years and hardly ever left, she was a recluse! I reckon she must have loved our technical gadgets and the chance to style her hair! Creepy.. Hope your Great Grandparents can give you lots of information..I wonder if he knows morse code! xx |

I thought it was a power surge, but the light switch was off as I never have overhead lights on, only ever have a lamp on !!!! Janinex |
