I would like your opinion as to if you think this is the same person, as I am getting confused trying to match Walter Savage to Sir Alfred Savage. ancestry.co.uk shows on 1871 Walter J Savage b1867/8 bethnal green Middlesex and living in camberwell ref rg10/738 (I can find nothing in between these years!) CAN YOU! 1901 shows Walter J Savage b1867/8 Hackney Middlesex and living in district of Newington ref rg13/382 I believe my Walter J was the son of Sir Alfred Savage and that Walter J had a daughter named Louisa Savage b 1895.(my grandmother) I think it's the birth shown on one as bethnal green and the other as hackney that are confusing me. Hi, A lot of mine come from Hackney/Bethnal Green and keep changing where they were born, so it is possible he is yours. :-)

Newington and Camberwell are pretty well interchangeable as well. Buy the certificate! Sounds good to me. But what job was this guy doing - is it a likely match for the son of aristocracy?
