I know very little about her, except.... She married Samuel West in 1901 (in Leeds), he was born in Pudsey, Leeds in 1877 and was a coal miner, I expect she was born about the same time, give or take a few years. Where do I start for info? Andy

Hi Andy, You have had many names and dates given which can only confuse you. However, you DO know the date of marriage of this couple. Where do you from here - well, first of all - write to the registrar of births, deaths and marriages for Leeds - give him the details, and request a marriage certificate - this will give you information including ages at marriage [hopefully], addresses, and father's names and occupations. Once you know their father's names, you can then use this info to confirm you findings. Good luck. David PS: Had another look for you - have found Elizabeth [b1871]living with widowed mother, Mary at 4 Dick Lane, Laisterdyke, Bradford in 1901 census. Plus, Elizabeth with BOTH parents in 1891 census - father's name Joseph H Darnborough - family living at that time 68 Craven Road, Leeds.
