Can anyone tell me if there is a website where I can get details of a scottish divorce from 1919? Jill

Jill you can try http://www(.)dswebhosting.info/NAS Search Fill in Surname under 'any text' and enter the year. You may be lucky and get a reference for the divorce, but this will then have to be ordered from NAS Good luck Liz

Jill Was wondering if it was a copy of the Divorce Extract that you were looking for? Present day Divorce Extracts are sent to the General Registry Office in Edinburgh & I believe are matched up with the Marriage Certificate (if the couple were married in Scotland). You might be able to get some advice from them. In those days the actual Divorce would have taken place at the Court of Session in Edinburgh I would think. Caroline
