Hi, Is it possible to split photos up when they have been scanned in groups of 3 or 4 before being sent. I want to use them in my tree separately but can`t work out how to do it. Jay.

What tree program have you got? In FTM you can crop the photo before you add it. I would think you could do this for each one you wanted to add?

Hi, Thanks for that . I`m using FTM but how would I get a batch of 3 or 4 in it to be able to crop just one ? And what would happen to the ones that I wasn`t using just then. Sorry, but I really can`t get the hang of this photo lark doh. Tay.

Well, you know Im no expert. But I did have someone send me two photos on one page. (Im hoping this is what you mean about your group of 4?) I saved the whole image in my docs and gave it a name. I went to my FTM - to the individual I wanted to add a photo to. Click on the scrap book icon under their name, birthplace etc. and an empty box comes up. Click on 'insert photo or object 'then enter the name you have given the photo with the four pics on - I always save mine as jpg. It will come up in the photo box thingy and you can then drag a border around the bit you want to keep and crop it (click on crop tab on right). Then bring up the image and if its ok, save and give it a title. The original page of 4 photos will still be in your documents/your pics and you can do it each time for the next person? Perhaps someone can give you better advice??

I want my nice new flat screen and fancy flashing lights thingys but with my OLD progs! I cant even remember what that prog was called! It was on the old windows (what ever that was!)
