I have just joined Ancestry.co.uk for 10 shots over 14 days and am probably the only person to be disappointed. Maybe I am missing something, but I haven't got any further with my search. For instance I had already found that Isabella Savage was married in West Derby in 1885 and thought by joining I would be able to find out who she had married, but no all I got was a list of people married under 'S' at that time - information I knew anyway. Should I be going another route?

Hi If your uncertain why don't you signed up and pay on the monthly basis which is not much more expensive than an annual rate. Cheers Paul

Hi Flossie, I have not done this but going by what others have said in the past it is well worth it but you must cancel well before your 2 weeks otherwise you will be charged I think for the year....

Can anyone tell me if it is worth signing up for the free 14 day trial om Ancestry? Is it easy to cancel when the 14 days is up?
