I keep getting this message 'Error caused by a device driver - cause 'Unknown device driver' I also am getting Messenger prompts to contact either www.msreg.com or www.FixThe Reg.net - both promise to fix my Registry problem - didn't even know I had one until I read the messages......can any member put me right, or advise if they have registered with the above two website - I understand there is a fee to pay for a download and 'cure'....Help! Don't click on anything - you might end up downloading something you don't want. Google the error message and see if you already have a virus. |

Hi Guys, Many thanks for your comments - still hoping for a member who has tried the sites in question, and results. Personally, I think they are after our money. However, its very annoying to keep getting these messages, and of course, my PC is getting slower by the day. I have just disovered another site - www.stopmessengerspam.com - this appears to be a 'free' way of getting rid of these objectionable messages - unfortunately, it does appear to stop other genuine messages getting through, like spooling info etc. David |

Hi David, I think you can download a patch to stop these particular popups. A disk clean up might speed up your computer. Janice |

David, download CCleaner - its free - just google. It clears up all the bits and pieces of old programs and files - when I first did it I couldnt believe how much quicker my pc went. Make sure you use the options to keep the passwords etc you want first. |
