Hi I wonder if anyone can help. I have finally found the above named person who I believe is my great grandfathers dad. He is listed as a general labourer but is married to an Irish lady and has one daughter born in Ireland, 2nd child born Bradford, 3rd born Aldershot, 4th My henry william Lampon born Gilbraltor and the 5th born in India. Would this be a possible explanation or am I totally wrong. Where do I order certificates from if they were born abroad? Any advice gratefully appreciated. It has taken me years just to find them.lol Thanks alot for your help Marnie |

Just to clarify, you can get the GRO reference from the Overseas Section of 1837on line - you then use that reference to get the certificate in the normal manner. Keith |
