I have been getting my 'Hot Matches' every two weeks on a Sunday night. I have recently been very good at dealing with them straight away (yes I am polishing my halo as I type :) I was due my next lot last Sunday but have received none.... Do you think I have been given time off for good behaviour? :)))) Chris |

They're probably too busy adding the 'Search Records' credits system and various pop-up adverts to the site to have time to run the Hot Matches! I can't say I'm too bothered about not getting them as I made the mistake a few weeks ago of adding a pocket of my BROWN relatives to my tree, so I'm back to getting a load of unrelated Browns now! Kate Don't know if it would help you. Someone suggested changing Smith to Ssmith or *Smith or xSmith or something similar....Works for me as I only have two Smith names and I have never yet had a match. Annoying to have to remember to amend them when I upload my tree to here but that is probably a small price to pay rather then 10 pages of 'less than' hot matches. Mind you if everyone does the same I could end up with matches for my disguised Smiths.... LOL Chris |

Helen My Smiths are so distant to me....Without looking at my records I think it's the third wife's (no children from the marriage) and her father.....I didn't think anyone would be interested! But you are right, what is distant to me may mean alot to someone else! They could be actively tracing a GGGAunt???? Suppose they have the marriage but haven't yet found 'he' was married before........... D**m it! I now feel guilty. LOL Chris |
