Ok my great aunt has the birth cert of her grandmother Ada Deighton born in 1874. Father is listed as George, mother Eliza Deighton formerly Myton. The problem im having is finding a marriage of George to Eliza. I believe this is Eliza in 1861 (previous census' the name is Mighton or variations, father dies as Mighton) James West abt 1839 Elvington Nr York, Yorkshire, England Boarder York St George Yorkshire Eliza Wrighton abt 1853 Elvington Nr York, Yorkshire, England Daughter York St George Yorkshire Ellen Wrighton abt 1830 Allothorpe, Yorkshire, England Daughter York St George Yorkshire George Wrighton abt 1794 Bishop Wilton, Yorkshire, England Head York St George Yorkshire George Wrighton abt 1839 Barnby Moor, Yorkshire, England Son York St George Yorkshire Thomas Wrighton abt 1841 Barnby Moor, Yorkshire, England Son York St George Yorkshire My Eliza's birth from 1881 onwards is listed as Elvington, and i cant find anyone else who could match. Its just the marriage bit which is bothering me and also the spelling (although is obviously understandable in those times) I have searched Ancestry, and familyrelatives Many thanks on any opinions
