Hi, can anyone please do a look up on the 1851 census. The subject is Jose / Joseph Alvarez De La Rosa, Surgeon He was born in Spain c1832. The earliest mention I have of him is a marraige in 1856 in Aldgate. I am not sure when he entered England. His father was Francisco / francois / Francis De La Rosa, Mariner / Captain. Any help very greatly appreciated. Donna. |

Hi, All, sorry for the delay in answering, took our Grandsons to the beach before the rain ! Thank you all for looking, much appreciated. Maybe Jose arrived in England after 1851. As I said the earliest document for him is 1856 on his marraige to Alice Lawson. Again, many thanks, Donna. |
