Sorry....a stupid question but how.....

do I put the enumeration district and folio numbers etc into the boxes on Ancestry. I have all the information but it doesn't seem to matter what I put into the boxes the page doesn't come up. I know it is there because I have actually found the page I want but only by trawling through the whole district. The information I have is as follows: H0107/523 ED 14 Folio 28/29. Which bit goes into which box please. I feel a bit of an idot asking but it is really getting to me and I know it will be something so simple (like me really). Jenny |

it isnt working for me either- are you certain you recorded the numbers correctly? H0107/523 should bring up loads on its own , but shows nothing. the foilio number goes in the Folio box ( obviously PEICE number in this case is 523 Page likewise (IGNORE 'ED') |

Hi Jess, It is information I was given a while ago. I wanted the actual image which I have now found but I couldn't understand why it wouldn't work with the references. I have just looked at the actual image and it says HO107/532/7 28/29 and page 10. It looks as though I was sent the wrong reference. I have just tried again and it works. Sorry, I didn't think to check the reference. I did warn you I was simple. Jenny |

It does appear but you have to put in some kind of a name in the name box as well? Suzanne |

some times it is easy to make very simple errors, transpose just two digits and the whole thing falls over - as you have just found! |
