If anyone knows instantly - what sub district of Stepney would Wapping come under please (My eyes are aching from trawling 1841 for the whole of Stepney). Please dont go to any trouble - I will come back when old man has gone out and with my glasses if its not an easy one. |

According to Genuki, Wapping WAS a subdistrict of Stepney. |

In 1841, it seems to be indexed as St John Wapping. nell |
