after joining genes 3yrs ago joined ancestry last saturday. in 2 hours wednesday night i traced my husbands grandfather back to 1871. grandad had been married twice. found him on 1901 census with 1st wife sent for youngest sons birth certificate thursday, just got it back by retutn post (thanks manchester reg office) so can now go further back. had to tell somebody husband at work.thanks all on genes again. maureen |

This is why I always recommend peeps to join ancestry. Its a ridiculous false economy - its a pound a week for gawds sake with all that amazing info. Glad you found yours, keep working backwards! |
