but only the one - whats the most economical way to use Scotlands People - do you have to pay search or just to view results?

You have to pay 1 credit to view the index of your search and 5 credits to see a full image of the certificate or the return. Hope your name isn't too common :o)

sorry girls - just seen these replies I paid up for creidt son 1837 - unfortunately all the OPRs images for my guy and his parents aren't available and i have to pay a tenner for each of them - so I'm gonna try and firm up a bit more that he's defo from SCotland before I decide he's mine. It's a pretty unusual name so I'd guess he is mine - but I'll search through parish records down here to see if i can find settlements or rates or ANYTHING that won't cost me as much. ANd i'm also waiting on feedback from someone researching the same line to see how's he's interpreted all the findings (1841, baptisms, death)
