You can never tell can you though! I find I'm confused pretty often these days, and developing quite a squint! lol.

Perhaps she means her step father. Sometimes referred to as 'in law'. Margaret

I've just been reading a will on Folkestone Families and on one it says the woman is a spinster and she mentions her father-in-law. Thankfully it's not one of my lot but it's still confusing.
