Just found a family living in Ardern Fields Stockport in 1841 census----does anyone knnow where this is, or anything about it. Gloria :-)))))

Just googled Ardern fields stockport and it can up with a couple of results. Might be worth doing a search to see if you come up with the right thing Sue

Thanks Susan, sorry took long time to get back to you. I have tried googling it but it comes up with nothing conclusive, just thought someone on here would live nearby, or maybe it doesn't exist anymore.

Hi Gloria, Just looked in the manchester A to Z and there is an Ardern field street, in Stockport and looking at the map it is near the Borough crematoriun, also marked on that part of the map are a couple of recreation grounds and a school with playing fields, might be worth a looking on Multi map or similar to see if you can get a bigger picture of the area.
