Hi can you search for bmds on the genealogist site .. meaning can you put a name in and a rough date and get a list of people with that name.. Or is it the same as ancestry and 1837 Online.. Colette

hi. it is the same as looking at st cath's index. you put in a name and can search for a max of 5yr at a time. then a list of fiche with that name on comes up. you click on the appropriate qtrs.hope this helps. edith

Might as well stick with Ancestry now they've put 1841 on :)

Cheers it was because i didnt want to trawl through the deaths looking for someone, its hard on the eyes.. Colette
