and despite all evidence to the contrary (i.e. he married in Westminster and declared himself 'of this parish', he left no settlement papers to suggest he moved there etc etc) My 5x gt grandfather WAS from bloody Scotland after all - I've been dismissing the Scottish Linksonss for years must now go eat humble pie with the guy I told his tree was wrong last year (in my defence - he couldn't prove the link - he'd just decided there was one) Zoe
