Thanks Merry yes I meant time between nisi and absolute....think pennies changed hands so as not to cause a scandal!!!! |

I don't think they regularly reported the decree nisi, though if it was an ''interesting case'' it might get a mention. One of my rellies has both in. Do you mean how long before would the nisi be, before the absolute?? With my rellie it was about 5 months between. Merry |

Hi If someone was divorced in 1924 and the absolute was in the Times, would there have been a mention of the Decree Nisi prior to that? Sorry one more question how long would it have taken to grant a Decree Nisi then? Thanks for your help Annie |
