So that person wouldn't need to provide proof, ie birth cert? Trisha

The age is given by whoever registers the death. If that person doesn't know them well, it could be years out.

Hi Peeps, How accurate do you think the age is on the death certs? Is it possible that they just take the word of the next of kin, or a neighbour etc if the person dies at home? What do you think? Regards Trisha
