You only need to look in the GRO marriage indexes for a marriage - but at the time you want, it does mean going through every quarter of every year page by page.

i know her age her adress in 1940 but i cant find if she married or when she died i have tried everywere but i keep comeing up blank maureen

i have tried the data bases no luck have they got everybody,s name,s in them or are a lot missing as i could,nt even find myself? the person i am looking for would be about 94now maureen
