I have a marriage cert where the grooms father is shown as (deceased) The brides fathers space just has a line drawn through it! I would have thought that if hers had died, she would have also put (deceased)? Any ideas? This was 1877. Gerri. |

it could be that she did'nt know her dad,or he didn't know about the marriage. Do you recognise the name's of the witness as they might be able to help |
