you need to look up a ref for her birth first. do you have that?

you need to get GRO number which you can search for free on Ancestry Beta index BMD then order on GRO site cost £7 per cert and takes at mo approx 3 weeks http://www.ancestry(.)co.uk/search/rectype/vital/freebmd/bmd.aspx Remove brackets http://www.gro.gov.uk/gro/content/certificates/default.asp

no i have not got ref i know someone looked up something for me and it was in december 1900 and it was under wincanton somerset... can u help please???

Right, so you'll send for that birth cert and it will tell you her mothers maiden name too.
