Does any one know exactly what info is given on Naturalisation Papers? My gt.grandfather came here from Germany and I wondered if it was worth a trip to Kew to see if he was Naturalised. Ive looked on NA site but it doesnt give them all anyway. Would I get exact dob, parents names, when he arrived in this country? Was Naturalisation compulsory for foreign aliens c. 1860s? Thanks for any help. Sylvia. |
