Can anyone please tell me where I can access the lastest/ most up to date Census. |

The census is taken every 10 years, so the latest one was done in 2001. BUT the latest which is open to the public is the 1901 census, available from this site or from Ancestry. It's also on microfiche at the Family Records Office in London andthe relevant bits on microfilm at county records offices. nell |

Thanks for that nell. Is there not anywhere tho that I can access those done between 1901 and 2001 as most of my family members were born after 1901. |

Stacey No, there is a 100 year closure on census information so there is no way you can access it. You will have to use other resources for research in the 20th century, such as Electoral Rolls, BMDs, telephone books, Street Directories etc. Sorry, its a pain, but that's the way it is, unfortunately. The only available info after 1901 would be Electoral Rolls, but they include only people eligible to vote. Reg |
