Victorian Family Bible - DEDICATION TO EMMA  MARY EYRE FROM HER PARENTS ON HER EIGHTEENTH BIRTHDAY IN FEBRUARY 1878. Item No - 7024104888 Cornish Family Bible c1811 - several annotations of births/deaths of members of the Williams family of Grampound in Cornwall. Carries the following dedication ' Mary G J Williams, Grampound. A present from her Grandfather. HENRY DADO WILLIAMS, Grampound 1857.' Item No - 7023533408 (have pm'd a member on GR who is an exact match....but unfortunately no reply! :( 'Tattersall' Family Bible - EARLIEST FAMILY REGISTER 1890, EARLIEST BIRTH 1874, EARLIESTMARRIAGE 1919,EARLIEST DEATH 1889. Births include..........(all Tattersalls')..........Irene 28/09/1919, Polly 03/10/1874, Richard 02/05/1876, James 19/05/1878, Elizabeth Alice 18/03/1880, Thomas 22/11/1882, Ruth 16/07/1885, Sarah Jane 02/02/1890, John 04/10/1887. I was sorting out our bookcase at weekend so we could move it and paint in that room. Found a little leather bible bunged at the back with a metal clasp and in it was an inscription from my GGM to her grandaughter (my great aunt )- it was a birthday present in 1884!- isnt that brilliant!
