Thanks Heather Gramps Tips for Newbies is very interesting and a great source of tips. Is there anywhere on GR that you can actually view peoples family trees?? I'd like to see some to see what they can turn into and the kind of information held. Thanks again Heather, youve been a great help. Regards Paul

You can't see other tree's unless you ask and they give you permission but you can search names using the Search tool at the top of screen.

Paul, if you pm me (click on my name) and send me your email address, I will send you the addy for my family tree using a familytree program. Its not the most fantastically professional in the world, but will give you some ideas of how a program helps you, if only by listing and qualifying your sources for each event.
