HELP WITH A MARRIAGE

Could anyone please give me some ideas on where to go from here. I have the birth certificate of my gt. grandfather Joseph Parsons born 1842 in the St. Clements area of Worcester. It gives his father as Joseph Parsons a Blacksmith and his mother as Ann Parsons formerly Featherstone. On the 1841 census they are both age 20 yrs with no children, so I am presuming they were married after 1837. I have looked on the IGI and the BMD and cannot trace any marriage for them. they say they are both born in Worcester on the 1851 and 1861 census. I have also tried 1837 online and nothing there. Does anyone have any ideas on what else I can try as I want to trace Ann featherstone's family. I cannot even find a birth for her on the IGI. I would appreciate any help at all. Thankyou

Have you looked through each quarter & year from 1837 to 1841?

Go to the ancestry site and look through the bmd beta index - going backwards from the childs birth. Use the mothers name for the search as its unusual. Ive just had a quick look and I think there are 4 Ann Featherstones married from 1st Quarter of 1840- 1st Quarter 1841 but none say Worcester, so I dont know the area well enough to choose one for you! Do you have her more specific place of birth as they may well have married outside Worcester?

Hi Thanks for your replies. I have looked on every quarter on ancestry and also 1837 online. The Ann Featherstone's that I have seen do not match up with a Joseph Parsons in the same area, Marlene
