If anyone is looking for rellies in 1891 and cant find them on Ancestry, can i make a suggestion that they look at GRO site. I have searched high and low for some time on Ancestry, i know it doesnt claim to be complete but as the name was Smith i am used to going round in circles for ages before i find anyone. But this lot really evaded me, as a last ditch attempt i looked on GRO and there they all are!! I feel really pleased with myself!! Mo

Not arf. Found a lucky break the other day - hadnt been able to find any of GGF's siblings but then I discovered a grandchild with GGFx2 - set me off again with a surname. As you say, gives you a real boost.

Shirley Yes, 1837, they have got 1891 census on there, its a really clear copy as well when you print it, no nasty black edges taking up half your ink cartridges!! Mo
