Hi does anyone know how to find information on children that became wards of the state sometimes known as Orphans (as they have no parents that are able to look after them) it would have been in 1963 in Ireland. One child less than a year old went to a foster home the other around 2 went to the convent with the sisters of Mercey in Ireland. Thanks |

I guess your answer is to contact the sisters of mercy Orphange organisation- whether they will give you any info is another matter, but you could try. Jess |

The convent has closed down. Where would I write too? If I wrote to the sisters of Mercy somewhere else would they pass it on to the right person? thanks |
