Hi Carrie Thats what I thought, although I've never done it before, but then i clicked on the research guidance buttons and it was advising me about getting information from France, and thats when I got all confused:-( I dont think I understand what they are advising me and most of it seems to be in French:-( Bev X

the details shown are what you will see on the film anyway but to order the films you just take down the batch, source numbers and order at a Mormon centre, takes a few weeks to arrive and you get them for a month, cost about £3.50 an order. i don't understand what you did but all you have to do is click on the name and the details are shown? or am i mis-understanding you? I have found the sister of my Gt Gt Grandfather listed on the IGI but have got 'lost' in trying to go any further with it. The lady concerned is Anne Marie Lemaire, born 12 March 1843 in Paris, France to Jean Jacques Lemaire and Jeanne Drouni. I had hoped that I might be able to view the christening record or even the birth record, but I fail to understand the instructions for ordering the films, partly because I'm being thick (lol) and partly beacuse the ones I think I need are in French:-( Can anybody help please and point me in the right direction?
