If you check the 1841 census for Buccanneers Cove, Dorset, you will find SILVER, LONG JOHN, age 87, retired cook from pirate ship, (disabled) living with Ben Gunn 98, and Flint (no first name), Captain, African Grey. (And if you believe that ..... you'll believe anything!) |
