how do you go about finding out about an irish Birth, I dont even know if its northern or southern, help about both apreciated.

If you type Irish or Ireland in the search box you will get loads of info on tracing irish information. Not always easy with irish rellies as record keeping varies,but the variuos threads will tell you how to proceed. Glen

There's some info on the link on your GR Homepage - under Genealogy Resources, lower down on the left of the pale bit. You'll also find some relevant tips if you put ''Irish'' or ''Ireland'' in the thread-search. Christine
