I think that CD is the basis of a database on 1837Online as well, if you don't want to buy the full CD. Christine |

if he is not on the war graves website, and a large amount that were killed are not, you can look at this cd, at your local library called 'Soliders thad died in World War 1', this contains many more than the war graves site, but still is not compleat. you can buy the cd but its about £250 |

No, it won't be in the ordinary indexes, but you might find it on the overseas army section of deaths on 1837online. Have you looked for the death on the commonwealth war graves site at:- www.cwgc.org Kath. x |

Could somebody tell me please - if a soldier was killed abroad in the first world war, would his death be recorded on the BMD index in England? Stella |
