I think the offer is worth it if you are not a subscriber to Ancestry, but if you do have An Ancestry subscription, then I would say it is better to just buy the odd few units on 1837 as and when you need them. I think the money would be much better used towards a subscription to Ancestry, as you get all the census information, plus lots of other things, plus the beta version of bmd's (albeit with some missing qtrs.) Kath. x

hi yes you are probably right I do have ancestry at the moment but was wondering if it ould be better, maybe not

Hi Ive found 1837 useful when pages are missing on BMD, found several of my names on 1837 this week. Tend to use 1837 as backup Annie
