If you use a program, such as Family Tree Maker, you have the option to print reports such as descendant or ascendant family trees and also to print a book and you have the choice as to which type of documents you want to include in your book. It takes the data that you enter into your family record for each individual and so you don't have to write it all out twice. You should also have a separate record of your tree, other than just on GR, incase there is ever any problem with the website, so that you have a backup-copy of your tree. It may be worth you having a look at FTM 2005 or 2006 and seeing what you think of it? Claire |
