I was at someone elses computer and didn't have ''My Favourites'' to help me.....I wanted the CWGC site and so typed what I thought was the address.........Instead of the typing ''d o t o r g'' at the end, I typed ''d o t c o u k'', by mistake!!! So I got: http://www(.)cwgc(.)co.uk/ (remove the brackets). Have a look.....it's an interesting site. Amongst a lot of other things, it says there are 15,000 records missing from the CWGC site.......there's lots more to read about.......Happy Hunting.......Merry xx

That's a brilliant site Merry. Thanks for telling us about it. There are some photos of personal records for certain people and photographs etc, so anyone who has ancestors who were in the services will find it interesting. Kath. x

Excellent site. What a stroke of luck you finding it that way. It gives you food for thought. I have bookmarked it to read more later. I am one of the lucky ones who`s grandfather was commerated. But there are many families out there who`s decendants were not. Again, an excellent site for them to read up on. Regards Vanessa

Interesting - it did take me a while to get my great uncle's record upgraded from ''age unknown'' and no family to it's current version - with age and parents' names. Christine

I've put that one in my favourites Merry :) I didn't know you could have the records updated Christine... My great grandfathers' record has no age or parents, I would love to add the relevant info, how did you go about it? Sam
