I want to delete certain members off my gc tree . do I have to delete all my tree and start again or can I do them individually ? many thanks Denis |

If they have children you can't delete them without deleting the children and descendants first. However you could EDIT them if you wanted to disguise their names to say 'unknown Smith'. So it depends why you want to remove them - because of a mistaken entry or because you don't want them to be identified. Anne |

I believe you have to remove the whole branch from the latest date. It might be easier to upload a new one if you do it by Gedcom file? Otherwise I think you need to delete any children/grandchildren first and work up the tree. Never done it myself so not too sure. Anne |
