Hi, I have my main pc downstairs with the internet etc and have norton full protection . My kids have a pc in their bedroom which they use mainly to do college work and play games on. No antivirus. The problem is that one of my sons usb stick which he uses at college seems to have been infected with virus's at college. If he uses it on my pc the norton kills anything on it but before we knew this, he's used it on theirs and now we fear virus's might be on theirs. They don't have a connection to the internet and so any virus software that wants updating can't be used. Any advice? Lisa

Hi Lisa, Only two things to do here 1) Go and buy a new anti virus and install it on upstairs computer and not use usb stick on it anymore OR 2) Take upstairs computer downstairs to your internet connection assemble and connect to internet - upgrade their anti virus and then re-assemble upstairs. Best of luck Snowdrops

Hi Lisa, This may be only a little bit of help but you never know. Could you not take the box bit ( lost for the name) and hook it up to your screen and internet, download AVG free, get rid of the virus and then take it back upstairs. I know it sounds painful but I have no better idea's, sorry. You may also get him to check the USB on yours before he uses it on his computer or can you get another port for the internet upstairs. Sorry that the best I've got I am sure someone else may have better. Melisa

If you have a CD writer on the downstairs computer can you download the AVG programme again and save it onto the desktop, copy it onto CD and then install on the upstairs computer?

You could download AVG onto your sons USB 'Flash Stick' via your machine and then take it upstairs and install it
