Irene I've pasted some info for you from Oxfordshire County Council's website: www(.)oxfordshire(.)gov(.)uk Oxfordshire Record Office: 01865 398200 Oxfordshire Studies: 01865 815749 Specifically for Oxfordshire parish registers of baptisms, marriages and burials from 1538 onwards. census records from 1841 to 1901 - censuses of every household and institution are taken nationally every ten years. We have copies on microfiche and computer, with place name and surname indexes. wills from 1542 to1857. electoral registers from 1833 to 2004. trade and street directories from 1783 to1976 - lists of officials, inhabitants and businesses.

Have you tried the oxfordshire fhs? They have CDs of parish register transcripts. Heather
