I am trying to track down the records of my g grandfather who was in the Royal Engineers in WWI, I have role number and everything, but still cant find anything. have tried documents online, the royal engineers website. Any ideas? |

have you tryed, http://www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/ if so? then about 2 thirds of ww1 records have been destroyed in a fire ww2? so this will probably be why you cannot find them Roy |

Hi Guys, He didnt die in the war, no. He lived until 1971. |
