I am just sitting here reading tips board and a message comes through comp. saying.' Youve got company' Its in the voice that usually says 'Youve got email' but softer. Anyone know what this means? Am I being invaded by alians? It really was quite unnerving. Sylvia.

Thanks Looby, I dont even know what messenger is! so I must have turned it on accidentally. Perhaps I can turn it off in the same way!. Sylvia.

messenger is if you talk on MSN. normally though its music when they come on not talking. Jeanette

Thanks Steve, that is very interesting. I`ve had this comp three years and never ever used the buddy list. Maybe it is the Long Lost Ancestor!! I`ll check it out later.Sylv.

If you hear an animals sound,dont worry it will be somebody on your buddy list that has added that. Marion
