For the last year ive been trying to find info regarding my Joseph Beaumont. Ive almost cracked it. I had no trace of a birth record, or marriage for parents. i found him in 1881 onwards married ect.... All i had was fathers name and occupation. found what i thought was him in 1871 living with mother and sister. No birth record for sister either. Thought i was at a dead end. went through all the clara's names in Lancashire and found what i thought was a good match Clara now married with the name Beck so ordered cert. My joseph was the witness. Went over all my info i had, discovered i missed a death for their mother, got cert and the witness was S Gooch again trawled all the Gooch's in Lancashire in 1871 nothing sprung out, did thiis on the other census records. Finally found in 1891 Clara's daughter staying with Henry & Susannah Gooch. Listed as great niece. Bingo i had my proof at last, this has now given me a new line to follow as finally has Josephs mothers name and discovered she was born in Liverpool and not Manchester as 1871 census stated. I think i have the right family for Josephs father, im now in the process of ordering certs for his sibling in the hope of finding a conecton to prove what ive found. For those with brickwalls, never give up the answers are out there Thanks for everyone who has helped me with this family, especially Lou Julie

And once again it proves how important it is to get certificates and to take every small detail off them for clues.
