Moe, when you go to fill in the joining details - just fill it all in for yourself - because its for you. Only when you get to the payment details do you need to put in the card no. and stuff. Try it that way anyway first. I often buy things on the net for my son who doesnt have a credit card. I fill in all the stuff for him but put my details in the payment bit.

No Moe, Lost Cousins is a web site where you can log your 1881 ancestors to see if any one contacts with a match. If you go there and register (its free) they did have an offer on there where you could get 20% off the ancestry yearly sub. Ive just looked at it seems you are in luck as they still have it on there. Ill pm you the address

Hi When I renewed this time I needed to use my card details which were different to the one (my husbands) I has used last year . I rang the freephone number and explained to the person and she simply did it for me and left the password etc as it was on my husbands card . Susan

No problem, they dont care whose money it is Im sure. Do go to the Lost Cousins site mo and register and see if you can still get 20% off the sub (saves £14 = 2 certs) by clicking on the ancestry logo on the right.

My daughter has finally agreed i am serious(good job she doesn't read half my posts)about genealogy and will buy me a subscription to Ancestry, but because i have had a free trial all my details are in my name, how do i go about getting registered with her card and different details but same log-in address??? is it easy, it looks complicated to me.........MOE!
