How can I link two familytrees together without having to type the other trees details in to my records and trees, can it be done?

If you put your tree into a programme like FTM and then merge the people - when you upload it onto here then the descendents only appear once. I've just done it = i've got first cousins who married.

Thanks for the reply Tom, can this be done with Personal Ancestral File from the LDS ?
