He's listed as a lunatic which looking at some threads on here suggests he had periods of sanity. Could Patients Pauper mean he was a patient but was able to work within the asylum? K |

Hi all I've just found one member of my tree in the Hull City Lunatic Asylum on the 1901 Census. He's listed as a Patients Pauper and I was wondering if anyone had any info on this? I've tried google and searching these threads but not been able to find anything. Seems my squeaky clean family ends with this lot... I think his sister has an illigitimate child too! Kimberley :o) |
